Pendle View Fishery is set in picturesque countryside near to the A59 at Barrow in the heart of the Ribble Valley between Preston and Clitheroe. Taken over by the Harnick Family in 2008 Pendle View has continued to develop and is now recognised as being the North West’s Premiere day ticket venue for Carp fishing, with Carp in excess of 43lb recorded.
Pendle View Fisheries consists of three lakes which include our nine acre specimen lake, a two acre match / pleasure lake and a Fly lake which is fed by streams running down from the nearby hills.
On the site we have secure parking, a tackle shop where you can buy bait and terminal tackle items as well as more substantial items such as waterproof clothing, hats, gloves, un-hooking mats and even rods….
Pendle View also boasts a small onsite cafe and eating area where we provide anglers with hearty meals such as our breakfast barms and curry dishes. All meals are available to eat in or take away and a range of soft drinks, teas and coffees are available all day long.
If you are fishing food and items from the shop can easily be delivered to your swim at no extra charge, this saves the hassle of having to reel in your rods.
A shower and disabled, ladies and gents toilets also compliment the fishery and for longer sessions or for a family treat we have two Scandinavian style luxury fishing lodges.
Our fishing lodges are fully equipped to sleep six people and have their own toilet facilities. Not to mention access to two priority pegs which overlook the very highly rated shallow area of the lake – this area fishes well in both summer and winter…
At Pendle View we pride ourselves in the best possible customer service and all your fishing needs can be catered for, pegs, lodges and even a whole lake can be booked in advance and we are already taking bookings for 2011.
Pendle View also offers the sale of fresh trout, caught, cleaned and prepared – while you wait… The freshest fish for miles around and we are open after 4pm on a Sunday!!
Whatever your angling requirements whether a four day session for carp or a four hour session for trout at Pendle View we are sure to have something to meet your needs…
